Hi, I’m Lynn Byrd (Byrdie). I create sweet whimsy that manifests from waking dreams. Most of my animal and nature-themed paintings are commissioned. I am the founder of The Little Pet Chapel Project, which is supported by the sale of Byrdie art. Most of my painting surfaces are 7” x 7” paving stones which are primed, textured with multiple layers of acrylic and latex enamel paints, and then double-sealed. These little sweeties reside on hearths and porches and in magic gardens from California to Connecticut. My goal for this art is to license it so I can one day build a full-sized Pet Chapel in my town of Winston-Salem, much like Stephen Huneck's Dog Chapel in Vermont. Look it up.
